Well, I’m starting a blog. I’ve got things I’d like to write about, and social media never felt quite like the right format (it’s too short, twitter feels like yelling in to the void, instagram is like… posing attractively at the void?) so here we are.
Also, being a few clicks away from the high traffic areas of the internet feels like a good thing.
I’ve never kept a blog before, so I’m sure this will be a learning process. It’s going to be focused on my art and my work, but inevitably bits of my life will pop in as well. I’m planning to treat it primarily as a way to organize my own thoughts and archive past work, although if you’re interested in art direction, process posts, concept art, or (yikes) my ramblings, you’ll hopefully enjoy it too. While it will mention my professional employers and collaborators, I don’t claim to speak for them.
